Xinjiang Derunsen Sugar Achieves Strong Q1 Production and Sales, Boosting Regional Economy

Xinjiang Derunsen Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., leveraging the rich beet resources in Xinjiang, achieved robust production and sales in Q1 within the Horgos Economic Development Zone's Yining Park. Its orders now span across five northwestern provinces, with continuous expansion. The company has enhanced capacity and market competitiveness through technological upgrades, market expansion, and product innovation. It is also preparing for a second phase, planning to develop new products like low-calorie rock sugar and explore export opportunities, significantly contributing to the park's high-quality development.

Xinjiang Derunsen Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., located in the Yining Park of the Horgos Economic Development Zone, has achieved remarkable success in the first quarter, boasting robust production and sales thanks to the abundant beet resources in Xinjiang's primary production areas. Its product orders now cover five northwestern provinces and are continuously expanding, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of Yining Park. Inside Derunsen Sugar's rock sugar production workshop, automated lines operate efficiently, with seamless transitions from sugar melting and boiling to crystallization. The sparkling multi-crystal rock sugar, after meticulous processing, is left to drain, then packaged, labeled, and sealed through a series of standardized operations. Wang Quanwu, the company's Deputy General Manager, stated, "The company ensures safe and stable production through a triple mechanism of equipment inspection, personnel training, and emergency drills. Our products primarily supply food processing enterprises, supermarkets, and wholesale markets in the northwest. Compared to the same period last year, our monthly production capacity has increased by 60%, achieving large-scale and stable production." To further expand its market share, Derunsen Sugar precisely targets diverse consumer demands. While consolidating its major wholesale clients in catering and food industrial processing, the company is actively expanding into the household consumption and gift markets, continuously optimizing its product structure. Li Huihui, Sales Director, noted, "Responding to market demands for spring wellness and festive gifting, our independently packaged small packs and New Year gift boxes of rock sugar have been highly popular. Online orders have seen significant year-on-year growth, and replenishment frequency from offline distributors has also accelerated." Benefiting from Yining Park's comprehensive industrial chain support and excellent business environment, Derunsen Sugar has achieved efficient synergy from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Currently, the company's sales-to-production ratio stands at 82%, laying a solid foundation for a strong start to the first quarter. Gulixian Parlhati, the company's Administrative Head, revealed, "This year, while consolidating our core market in the northwest, the company plans to actively explore export opportunities. Furthermore, we will deepen product research and development, creating innovative products like low-calorie rock sugar. Our goal is to build a complete industrial chain from raw material supply to deep processing and market sales, further enhancing product added value and contributing to the extension and supplementation of Xinjiang's sugar industry chain." It is understood that the Derunsen Rock Sugar 50,000-ton annual comprehensive processing project is a key investment attraction project for the Yining Park of Horgos Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 150 million yuan. Upon full operation, its annual output value is expected to exceed 420 million yuan. This project not only fills the gap in large-scale rock sugar production in the Yili region but also enhances the added value of white sugar by extending the sugar industry chain, creating over 70 stable local employment opportunities. Currently, the company is actively preparing for its second phase, planning to add single-crystal rock sugar and liquid syrup production lines to further diversify its product range. As a vital component of the Horgos Economic Development Zone's "one zone, three parks" strategy, Yining Park consistently focuses on key industries such as bio-manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and deep processing of agricultural products. It continues to deepen the construction of its "41633" business environment system. By improving infrastructure, strengthening factor guarantees, and implementing a "one enterprise, one policy" precise service approach, the park has successfully attracted numerous high-quality projects. Kaisaer Xiaoqaiti, Deputy Director of Yining Park's Economic and Trade Development Bureau, emphasized, "The park will continue to adhere to an industry cluster and chain-based development orientation, leveraging the rich agricultural and animal husbandry resources of the Yili River Valley and its advantageous westward-opening geographical location. We will vigorously support enterprises in deep processing and technological innovation. We will continuously optimize the business environment, deepen cooperation between government, universities, and enterprises, improve industrial chain support, assist enterprises in expanding domestic and international markets, and transform more advantageous resources into development momentum."
