As spring flourishes, Honghe Sugar Mill successfully concluded its 2025/2026 crushing season on April 2nd. The 124-day production period yielded an impressive result: the volume of sugarcane crushed surpassed 1.13 million tons for the first time, setting a new historical record. This achievement marks a significant step for the company towards becoming a benchmark enterprise in the million-ton sugar production category. The remarkable success is attributed to the company's persistent efforts across multiple dimensions. In terms of raw material supply, Honghe Sugar Mill focused on its core operations, delving deep into the 'first workshop' of the cane fields. Through close collaboration with local governments, the company continuously increased support and infrastructure investment in the sugarcane growing areas. It vigorously promoted high-sugar, high-yield sugarcane varieties, with current planting areas reaching 253,600 mu, a superior cane variety rate of 99%, and high-sugar varieties accounting for 93%. Standardized harvesting and transportation processes further solidified the foundation for raw material production. Regarding production efficiency and quality improvement, the company actively advanced technical upgrades and process optimization for its production lines. Leveraging an intelligent dispatch platform, it achieved highly efficient production. The green and intelligent transformations have yielded significant results, with substantial increases in energy utilization rates and premium white sugar yields. These accomplishments led to Honghe Sugar Mill being recognized as a national-level 'Green Factory,' providing strong technological support for continuous capacity breakthroughs. Furthermore, the company implemented lean management to effectively drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements. By establishing a full-process benchmarking management system, optimizing the circular utilization of by-products, and fully stimulating the innovation and efficiency of all employees, key production indicators steadily improved. This achieved the dual goals of quality and efficiency enhancement alongside energy saving and carbon reduction. The record-breaking sugarcane crushing volume is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of all employees. Looking ahead, Honghe Sugar Mill will continue to focus on its core business, strengthen its raw material base, enhance technological empowerment, and deepen lean management, striving for high-quality enterprise development and contributing to rural revitalization and local economic construction.
