Dongtang Qianjiang Company Successfully Completes New Sugarcane Planting Measurement, Strengthening Industry Data Foundation
Dongtang Qianjiang Company successfully conducted a specialized measurement project for newly planted sugarcane from April 13 to May 14. Mobilizing 89 employees, the team completed outdoor measurements in approximately one month, accurately verifying the planting base. A total of 99,252 plots, covering 134,668.47 mu, were measured. This initiative provides crucial data for agricultural management, subsidy calculations, and harvesting plans, marking a significant step in the company's refined sugarcane production management.
Starting April 13, Dongtang Qianjiang Company initiated and efficiently advanced a specialized measurement project for newly planted sugarcane. Under the company's unified deployment, 89 key employees from the agricultural department and other departments actively responded, collaborated closely, and overcame numerous challenges. After a month of continuous effort, outdoor field measurements were successfully completed by May 14, marking the successful conclusion of this phase.
The new sugarcane planting measurement task was substantial, covering a wide area with dispersed plots and complex outdoor working conditions. To accurately verify the baseline of newly planted sugarcane and ensure the authenticity and precision of planting data, which is crucial for subsequent agricultural production management, sugarcane farmer subsidy calculations, and harvesting and transportation planning, the agricultural department proactively developed a detailed implementation plan. This plan meticulously divided operational zones and scientifically allocated personnel, ensuring efficient and orderly progress.
Frontline measurement personnel, undeterred by the arduous outdoor labor, strictly adhered to standardized measurement procedures. Upholding the principle of seeking truth from facts, they meticulously measured and accurately registered each plot and area. They diligently cross-checked information for every sugarcane field, striving for 'no omissions and no repetitions,' maintaining strict control over data quality throughout the process to ensure all data was authentic, precise, and traceable.
As of May 14, this special project successfully completed measurements for 99,252 plots of newly planted sugarcane, totaling an area of 134,668.47 mu. Specifically, 79,493 plots, encompassing 114,780 mu, were re-planted; 19,467 plots, totaling 19,434.61 mu, were expanded; and 292 plots, covering 453.71 mu, were abandoned. Moving forward, the company's agricultural department will systematically organize and publicize these measurement data.
The successful completion of the annual new sugarcane planting measurement not only accurately ascertained the overall planting baseline of newly planted sugarcane within the jurisdiction but also further solidified the foundation for the company's refined sugarcane production management. This initiative provides strong assurance and momentum for the high-quality development of the company's sugarcane industry throughout the year.
