According to monitoring data from May 12 to 26, 2026, the overall soil moisture conditions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's farmlands were favorable. During this period, Guangxi experienced significant weather fluctuations. The early part saw widespread rainfall, with particularly heavy precipitation in northern and eastern Guangxi, including localized downpours and short-duration thunderstorms with strong winds. Subsequently, rainfall diminished, and temperatures rose. While northern Guangxi occasionally experienced scattered showers, western and southern Guangxi were predominantly sunny and hot with less rain, leading to an expanded high-temperature range.
