The mainstream transaction price for white sugar spot in the Guangxi region was 5276 yuan/ton, marking a slight decrease of 3 yuan/ton compared to the previous day. However, a rapid surge in sugar futures prices in the afternoon prompted some traders with low inventories to seize the opportunity to replenish their stocks. Consequently, major sugar groups adjusted their quotations multiple times throughout the day, leading to a slight increase in market transaction volumes. Specifically, quotations from various groups in the Guangxi region were as follows: Guangtang's Grade 1 white granulated sugar maintained its price at 5330 to 5370 yuan/ton. Nanhua's Grade 1 sugar saw an increase of 10 to 20 yuan/ton, reaching a range of 5280 to 5330 yuan/ton. Dongtang's Grade 1 sugar increased by 10 yuan/ton, now quoted at 5330 to 5390 yuan/ton. Fengtang's Grade 1 sugar rose by 20 yuan/ton, with prices between 5360 and 5390 yuan/ton. Xiangui's Grade 1 sugar quotations remained unchanged, ranging from 5270 to 5360 yuan/ton. In the Yunnan market, Nanhua's Kunming quotation was 5130 yuan/ton, while both Xiangyun and Dali were quoted at 5090 yuan/ton, each reflecting a 10 yuan/ton increase from the previous day. Yingmao's Kunming quotation stood at 5140 yuan/ton, and Dali's at 5100 yuan/ton, with both prices remaining stable. For the processed sugar market, the mainstream quotation range held steady at 5620 to 5920 yuan/ton. A few brands experienced minor adjustments of 10 yuan/ton, resulting in a mixed trend of gains and losses overall.
