Nanning Sugar's Binyang Daqiao Sugar Mill has achieved remarkable results in the 2025/26 crushing season. As of March 9th, the mill processed 1.11 million tons of sugarcane, with a projected total exceeding 1.4 million tons for the season. Through enhanced process control and labor competitions, the mill achieved a 95.18% yield of A-grade beverage sugar and 99.50% of B-grade, setting a new quality record since its establishment. Significant progress was also made in safety and cost reduction, laying a solid foundation for achieving annual targets.
With the arrival of spring and a renewed vigor, Nanning Sugar's Binyang Daqiao Sugar Mill swiftly transitioned into full operational mode after the Chinese New Year holiday. The company adopted an aggressive approach, aiming for a strong start and significant advancements in both production volume and quality for the new crushing season. The production lines are bustling with activity, characterized by the hum of machinery and the efficient, orderly progression of various processes.
In the crushing workshop, sugarcane is continuously fed into the production line. It undergoes a series of closely linked stages, including crushing, clarification, evaporation, boiling, crystallization, and packaging, ultimately transforming into high-quality white sugar. Currently, Daqiao Sugar Mill's average daily sugarcane crushing volume exceeds 10,000 tons. As of March 9th, the cumulative crushing volume reached 1.11 million tons, with the total for this crushing season projected to surpass 1.4 million tons, indicating a robust and positive production trend.
Since the commencement of the 2025/2026 crushing season, Daqiao Sugar Mill has consistently prioritized product quality as its core competitive advantage. Through stringent process control, proactive labor competitions, and the implementation of a 'mentor-mentee' skill transfer program, the company has successfully elevated the overall quality of its white sugar. Data shows that the yield of A-grade beverage sugar has reached 95.18%, and B-grade beverage sugar yield is 99.50%, representing increases of 14.44% and 3.05% respectively compared to the previous season, setting a new record for optimal white sugar quality since the mill's establishment.
In addition to the notable achievements in production and quality, Daqiao Sugar Mill has also delivered an impressive performance in workplace safety and cost reduction. The safety production rate for this crushing season stands at a high 99.96%. From the start of the crushing season until the end of February 2026, the mill reduced its external electricity consumption by 1.1139 million kWh year-on-year, saving approximately 772,600 yuan in energy costs. This effectively translated technological advantages into cost and competitive advantages.
Reflecting on these substantial accomplishments, Jiang Ming, Party Secretary of Daqiao Sugar Mill, stated that breaking the 10,000-ton daily crushing average and continuously improving white sugar quality are the collective results of the diligent efforts and hard work of all employees and management. Looking ahead, Daqiao Sugar Mill will continue to focus on technological upgrades, refined management, and cost reduction initiatives, striving to achieve all production targets and tasks for the 2025/2026 crushing season.
